Remember to bring your on beverage, tea will be available with the meal. The total price per person will be approximately $11.00, that's not bad.
The front yard will have a huge lighted Christmas tree, you can't miss it. Eat time will start at 6p.m.,
so if you get there around 5:30 or so, that would be great.
Hope to see you all there. Some of the member's better halves will be bringing deserts, which is greatly appreciated. Thank you.
The October 2004 fish-off is set for Lake Guntersville, out of the state park, Mack Cramer will be taking care of all room reservations. Thanks Mack.
Just a reminder to all members, if you decide to leave or have to leave a tournament early, please let someone know by phone, a note on a windshield, or tell someone if you see them on the water.
This will prevent a search party.
NEW BUSINESS:
First of all, the club would like to thank the following: All-Terrain Tackle, Mann's Bait Company and Optimum Swimbaits for their donations of products to our club.
It's not every day that you can find a tackle company that's willing to do that, so to you three, our club greatly appreciates what you have done and we thank you.
Secondly, the club would like to thank Wayne #1 Thomley for all of his time and effort arranging the donations of tackle products to our club. Once again, thanks.
Two new members have been added to the Panhandle Roster, congratulations to John Kasic and Dave Dyess. Good luck and tight lines.
December Tournament:
Black Water River was the site of this months tournament, 14 boats, 15 members and two prospective members, along with a few guests were ready to go at safe daylight. The water had a light stain on the main river and was clear in the basins. The tide was out going with cloudy skies. On Black water, that would generally be a good thing but as it tuned out the fish just didn't want to cooperate. The bite was tough, one here, one there, if you were lucky.
Weigh-in time told the story with no limits caught and most who had fish to weigh in only had one or two.
One had 4, and one had 3.
Fred Raby, the man on this day, had 4 fish for 9.00 lbs even, Dave "stump" Rogers took second with 2 fish weighing 4.60 lbs and Rich Cornelius took third with 3 fish at 4.16 lbs. Billy #3 Blackwell took big fish of the tournament, with a nice 3.38 pounder. Good job.
