OLD BUSINESS:
Thanks to all the members of the Panhandle Bass Club for fine 2003 season, the participation was good and the competition is great. Good luck to all in the 2004 season.
Rule changes for the 2004 season is in place, take the time and read over them when possible.
Two other sites were nominated at the Nov. meeting for the 2004 fish-off, Fred Raby nominated Lake Guntersville and Tony Boyett nominated Lay Lake. The fish-off site will be voted on in December.
Two potential members were brought up at the Nov meeting, Wayne Thomley will sponsor Robert Agerton and Frank Kelly will sponsor Danny Hardy if they decide they would like to be members of the Panhandle Bass Club.
NEW BUSINESS:
Any member who would like to propose a site for the 2004 Fish-off shall do so by the December meeting.
As much information as possible pertaining to the club's needs for such site should be gathered.
(Example)
Mileage, Lodging location and Cost, Travel time, Restaurants, Launch sites, Electrical outlets, Boat/Trailer parking at lodging place, etc, etc.
Mack Cramer proposed three sites for the 2004 fish-off at the October meeting, they are as follows:
Okechobee, Toledo Bin and Lake Toho/Kissimmee chain.
Congratulations to Steve Graham on being promoted to Chief Petty Officer.
OLD BUINESS:
New Business: Mack Cramer has proposed to have the club Banquet at his house on Saturday, Dec 13th. All of the details will be covered at the Dec. meeting; this includes catering, time, directions, cost etc.
Anyone who would like to donate to the Crippled Children's fund should see Walter McCartney, this is for a very good cause, and any donation will truly help.
November Tournament:
The November tournament was held out of Ellis Landing at Millers Ferry, there were 18 members present and ready to fish at safe daylight. The wind was around 10 to 15 mph and the water was stained. The powerhouse was pulling water most of the day, that's a good thing. Most of the guys pre-fished the day before, soft plastics and crank baits seemed to be the baits of choice for most.
Fishing lay downs and stumps in 2 to 6 feet of water worked best.
Come weigh in time, Wayne Thomley had 7 nice fish that proved to be the winning stringer, Wayne Cox took second, also with a limit and Troy Beedle took third. Mack Cramer took big fish honors with a nice 3.11 lb largemouth. Mack finished fourth for the tournament. Overall it was a good tournament.
Good job to all.
