Rule 24:

24: The Tournament Director, or in his absence, the acting Tournament Director will be guaranteed the use of his boat in all club tournaments. For this privilege, the Tournament Director will be the last boat to blast-off at all tournaments.
This rule will be implemented as follows:

a. The Tournament Director's name will be placed in the boater box and paired with a non-boater by random draw as outlined in tournament rule 5.
b. The provisions of tournament rule 5a. will not apply to the Tournament Director.

2013 Change:
Rule 24:

a. Prior to the pairing of the general membership, the Tournament Director will be paired with a non-boater by random draw. After this pairing, the rest of the membership will be paired as outlined in tournament rule 5.

b. The provisions of tournament rule 5a. will not apply to the Tournament Director.
