Minutes of the Meeting:

The October meeting of the Pensacola Hawg Hunters was brought to order at 7:00 P.M. October 20, 2010 at
Founaris Brothers Restaurant.
Dave Dyess presided over the meeting.
There were 24 members present.

Old Business:

Motion was made and seconded to dispense with the reading of the minutes for the September meeting. Treasurer's report was given and accepted. Boo Ray pot is up to $560 for a 5 pound fish. Election of new officers was done. New eboard will be Dave Dyess President, Tournament Director Don Jahnke, Secretary Jeff Weaver, Tresurer Buddy Yates, Tournament Director Frank Kelly.Dave Dyess gave information about the banquet that will be on Friday November 19 at 6:30 P.M. at the Angus Restaurant on Scenic Highway. A Motion was made that we take $75 from the special fund to be used for door prizes at the banquet. 36 people indicated that they were planning to attend.
The 50/50 was won by Ken Repine.

New Business:

A Wish lists for tournament sites for next year were given out. They are due tonight or on Saturday at the tournament.
Voting on Constitution changes and Tournament and Fish off rules was done. Six out of the eleven proposals passed. Rules that passed: Order shirts thru club secretary with patch and name on front. Move all 12 tournaments to the same year. Members will not get tournament points if they do not fish. Members must fish two days of a two day tournament to get tournament points. Returning fees after a non boater declares that he cannot fish. Tournament director takes his boat. September Tournament results were given out and the draw for partners for October tournament was done.
The Meeting was adjourned at 8:10 p.m

October Tournament:

The October tournament was held on Jordan Lake at the Boat Ramp Landing. This is our last tournament this year. Nineteen Hunter's were in the October Tournament and End of the year Fish-Off.


1st Place
Dave Dyess
Dave brought in a nice stringer of nine fish for the weekend. His total weight was 20.13 pounds. Dave also had the lunker of the day on Sunday with a 3.85 pounder.


2nd Place
Jeff Weaver
Jeff Weaver also had a nice stringer of nine fish for a total weight of 18.33 pounds. This will wrap it up and put Jeff in 1st place for the end of the year standings.


3rd Place
Tony Boyette
Tony took the third place spot with a nice bag of six fish for the weekend.
He also had the lunker of the day for Saturday at 3.79 pounds.


4th Place
Mack Cramer
Mack brought in a total of seven fish for the weekend . His total weight was 12.74pounds. The total weight of the fish for the two day tournament was 161.09 lbs There were a total of 91 fish weighed in for the two days. The average weight was 1.77 pounds.
Pretty nice average!!
Only two members found themselves in the ALSO FISHED category on Saturday and only three on Sunday. 16 of the 19 club members were wearing their hats and shirts at the Saturday weigh-In. We only had one dead fish for the entire tournament!!
