Tournament Rules

Rule 1


1. In order to receive credit for fishing a club tournament, a member must be in good standing, tournament fees paid and actually fish the tournament, ( Defined as launching boat and having boat number called out).
Members who pay their fees and do not fish the tournament will receive their points but will not receive credit for the tournament as one of the previous 6 tournaments fished to qualify for the fish-off, however, the $5.00 contribution paid will count towards the fish-off.

Rule 1

1. a. In order to receive credit for fishing a club tournament, a member must be in good standing. Dues and tournament fees paid prior to starting the tournament. Normally entries fees will not be accepted after the close of the meeting it will be left up to the Tournament Director to allow a late entry. Members who pay their entry fee and then are unable to fish they will still receive their tournament points But will not be counted towards the fish off.

b. Late arrivals will only be penalized time lost. To receive credit for the tournament
late arrivals must fish and be at the weigh in.

Fish Off:
2. In order to receive credit towards the fish off a member must

a. Actually fish the tournament
b. Launch his boat, have his Name, flight or boat number called out in the morning start.
At that time the member may leave if he chooses.


Reason
This change would remove any multiple interpretations of the current rule; it spells out what is needed.
