Section 1f. Membership Requirements

f. The official shirt with club logo on left chest only will be ordered through the club secretary.

Reason

The cost of the shirt as currently done is outrageous. This cost is primarily due to the cost of the monogram on the back. We can lower the cost of the shirt by $30-$35 by letting the back logo be "optional". This will also clarify as to what is required on the shirt. We currently require that the back of the shirt be monogrammed even though the constitution doesn't require it. In fact it allows the Secretary to decide what is put on the shirt to be "official". A $79 fishing shirt for a local fishing club is "over the top."
