Minutes of the Meeting:

The October 2004 meeting was brought to order at 7:00 p.m. on November 17, 2004 at C.J.'s Smoke House off Davis Hwy and I10. President Dave Dyess presided. There were 23 members and one guest present.

Members Of The Board:

President
Dave Dyess
Vice President/Treasure
Terry Smith
Secretary
Ken Repine
Tournament Director
Frank Kelly
Asst. Tournament Director
Paul Sullivan

Old Buisness:

No old business discussed.

New Buisness:

The new e-board began their fist official duties. The minutes and treasurer's reports were read.
We would like to extend our greetings to our newest Hawg C.J. Garrison to the Hawg Hunters.
He was voted in despite his absence. We will see if this is evidence of things to come.
( Just kidding, maybe C J )
Dave Dyess brought up that there needs to be a gathering of information to clarify certain portions of the constitution and tournament rules. One example is the tournament fee being mentioned in the tournament rules but fails to mention what that amount is exactly. Items such as this have not been brought forward from past Hawg Hunter history. Dave's intent is to call upon members to help with this and create a standard operation procedure ( SOP ).
Suggestions for where to hold the annual award's banquet are being solicited.
Discussion also took place for a set place for our monthly meeting. The Golden Corral was one possibility brought up. It will be available in January 2005. December's meeting will be held at CJ. On Davis Hwy unless Founaris Brother's will be re- opened in time for the December meeting. If so member's will be contacted.
Suggestions for a place other than the seven ( 7) choices list on the tournament sheet handed out. The fish off tournament site was decided by a majority vote to be Lake Martin in October. Copies of the 2005 Tournament were given to those present.

1. Brian Metcalf

Hawg Want A Be:

~Know Your Hawgs~

Say hello once again to Rich "Richie" Renner. Rich is sponsored "suckered" back into the club by Jim Bailey Sr.
Rich said he has been on vacation in Afghanistan trying to convert "skin" a few of the local Taliban Towel Heads into seeing things in the U.S. Marine's way of life. He told me that Billy Graham would be proud of him.
Said he converted all into seeing the light that came his way.
Good job Rich.
Welcome back to the club.

November Tournament:

Another tournament season has begun and as the standings indicate, it has begun in good fashion.
In looking back to last November's numbers there were a number of statistics that stand out. This November there were more limits; more total fish caught; and a bigger " big fish ". The one statistic that also stands out for last November is the top 2 weights last year were both better than the top weight this November. The weights over all other than that were quite similar.
The one main difference between this year and last was the weather. Last year was colder than this year. Even though it rained for a part of this year's tournament it seemed to have no over all effect other than requiring rain suits to be brought out and worn.

Democrats put it on the rear bumper.
Republicans put it on the front bumper.
